Price range: $79.00 - $92.99
Design
This Gadget with no surprisingly no buttons is so small that it will give
complex to rest all personal digital MP3 players. The headphone is to be
plugged in on the top of the shuffle. There is one switch for choosing
between shuffle playback/consecutive playback and power.
The earbud-style headphones bundled with the Shuffle include a remote control
on the cable. The wired remote has two buttons.viz volume and multiple
function button. The second button is more responsible for making this gadget
complex to be used by most of the people. It has codes like if You press the
center button once , it will pause the music, Twice pressed it will skip the
song forward, thrice it will again skip back.HUFF...
A big negative point here, if suppose you lost the bundled headphones you are
helpless. you cant use this gadget with your own favourite headphones.(Unless
you invest to get a connector socket) . The replacement headphones , being
very techy by itself costs you further 28$ approx. :(
The headphone cable lenght is 3 feet which is good enough. Infact When you
plug the ipod to your tshirt or pocket. This length might even prove to be
bit on the longer side. But that being said, More should not be considered as
a bad feature. If you order this online, then you can embedd your customized
engravings along with apple logo.
This is purely digital MP3 player. No FM RADIO/recorder, no voice recording
no photo or video playback.
There is a new feature in this shuffle that actually makes it a next
generation shuffle. This gadget has Voiceover feature. that speaks out about
what song is to be played next along with the artist.Yes, there is an option
to switch it off as well. Else this might not be liked by most the
customers.Dont get confused by this feature with VOICE Command facility. There
are no voice commands. hmm,But May be it could be a gr8 thought for next
generation Ipod shuffle.
As far as charging goes, the Shuffle comes with a 4-inch USB adapter that
connects between the iPod's headphone output and your computer. It gives a
playback time of 10 hours. This ipod can be used as a data storing device,
allowing you to store and transfer files without interfering with the audio
content on your iPod. But if you want to tranfer music files, as was in
prior versions, Apple itunes is required.
The sound quality has a full with better bass response and less background
hiss.
Pros:
Smallest
Voice over facility
4GB storage
10 hrs usage capability.
Cons:
Complicated controls
Nearly non usable with car stereo and home audio devices in the absense of
remote control.
Confusing interface will be tough for some customers to learn.
Due to remote control buttons available on headphones only, you cant pick
your own favourite headphones.
Final Verdict: This is too tiny that it would give you a feeling that your
headphones have inbuilt MP3 player within. Amazing sound clarity and ease of
usage both as an interface to PC as well the basic music casting usage.
Rating 7/10

Review of JBL DUET II speaker system
JBL DUET II desktop speakers is all new and amazing pair of audio speakers from JBL under sub 100$ category.
price tag category.Comes in silver and grey color shades with glossy black
background.
It comprises of 40-millimeter Phoenix SE speakers in modern looking oval
enclosure. It has 6 Watt Amplifier. Thus donot expect the ooomph of a sub
woofer system. Its great for normal music listening experience.
The JBL Duet II is compatible with all 3.5mm jack sockets. Which includes
personal computers, portable MP3 devices and most modern music mobile phones
including Iphone and Nokia E and N series phones. It has onboard digital
amplifier system. Which definitely produces impressive sound with minimal
distortions. Yes, at high volume it does produce noticable distortions
specially for Low frequencies. But thats acceptable at the given price tag.
Volume and power controls are located at the very top of the system. This
works best for those who do not like to change equalizer frequencies much as
per choice.Just one control and life is easier. This system excels in
producing Midrange and high range frequency music.
The system’s specs are:
12 watts total power
60 Hz – 20 kHz frequency response
80 dB signal to noise ratio
This is a remoteless system. This is recommend for someone who is looking for
a compact desktop speaker system with cool stylish room presense.
The cables are all hardwired. The top end of each speaker is flat. The
frontface of the system has a non detachable silver net, while the back panel
of each speaker is shiny black surface. All this is accompanied by A tiny
green LED which indicates if the speaker is on or off.
This is perfect for the work areas where volumes shouldn't be too high.
Speakers seam to have interference with EDGE enabled phone while on usage.
Vinal Verdict:
Rating: 8/10
The JBL Duet II delivers quality audio at a reasonable price.
Pros
Great audio performance at mid and high range volumes along with stylish
alienatic design at very affordable price tag.
Very Easy volume control system.
Cons
Signs of noice interference with a EDGE enabled mobile device
